Sales Engineer - MENA

We are looking for a talented sales engineer to provide expertise to the sales team and back them up on their sales activities.

The successful candidate would bring industry understanding as well knowledge of what it takes to clear out technical obstacles for a sale to be accomplished and help our clients optimize the use of our services. This position is perfect for a technically experienced engineer to develop itself in the growing technology world of the Middle East.

Job description

  • Provide technical expertise to new and existing customers in order to assist regional sales teams in reaching sales revenue goals.
  • Responsible for technical pre-sales design recommendations and justifications.
  • Manage the technical aspects of sales prospecting and provisioning and manage the technical sales cycle.
  • Communicate technical design requirements and implementation details to sales team and customers, both in formal documentation and verbally.
  • Communicate account and project status with internal team
  • Design, document, and implement Content Delivery (CDN)/Stream caching solutions, incorporating network design method, capacity planning, HTTP, Streaming (RTSP, Flash, HTTP Streaming), SSL, DNS, HTML, Access Control, and W3C compatible WWW technologies.
  • The potential candidate would be able to work from our offices in Dubai or remotely.

Job requirements

  • Experience working with a Cloud, SaaS technology environment and knowledge of AWS.
  • Familiarity with VPNs, IPSec, security protocols and standards.
  • 5+ years of proven success within a technical sales or presales role.
  • Broad, high-level knowledge of Internet architectures.
  • Knowledge of proxy server and caching technology.
  • Understanding of network monitoring, debugging, sniffing, and related utilities for UDP and TCP/IP networks.
  • Proven ability to design, direct, document and implement solutions involving HTTP and Stream Caching technologies.
  • Technical leadership skills for supporting project management, back office & pre-sales staff and in managing projects with little supervision.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience and talented in customer-facing white board and WebEx presentations.
  • Proven success in managing relationships with customers, vendors and staff.
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to creatively solve complex problems.
  • Hands-on understanding of HTTP Headers, Flash Media/Windows Media/Wowza Svr2/mobile stream Server/Client and website architectures, and knowledge of XML, Java, Ruby On Rails, PHP Scripting a plus.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager/sales Director to take responsibility for our sales in Israel.

This position requires a long track record of successfully selling into various verticals including medium to large sized national and international brands. 

Job description 

  • Responsible for building, maximizing and realizing the sales potential within a broad range of client opportunities.
  • Achieve or exceeding revenue goals by selling a set of cloud, acceleration, cloud security, SAAS and infrastructure as a service solutions.
  • Expected to create a pipeline of opportunities from his own network as well as company’s lead generation activities.
  • Understand the internal business processes of potential clients and strategize, present and demonstrate a tailored technology solution. Also, she/he must develop an understanding of the customer's business objectives in order to map a strategy that will be a viable solution to those business objectives.
  • Excellent relationship building and experience in contract negotiations.
  • Solid understanding of the cloud and technology world and ability to explain product benefits in detail.
  • Ensure quality client management & support; manage inter-team processes and ensure efficient operation of the business.
  • Maintain and report on Sales KPIs and Marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for achieving company market share and revenue goals.
  • Develop annual sales plans in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
  • Recommend on sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of sales quota and successful sales experience.
  • Proven ability to achieve against quota.
  • Proven track record building claint portfilio from scratch.
  • Exceptional relationship skills (empathy, empowerment, leadership, develop).
  • Experience in solutions sales within internet or Enterprise accounts.
  • High level of integrity, ethical standards and desire to be part of a successful sales organisation.
  • Skill to prioritize opportunities that will lead to new industry penetration, new account acquisition and incremental revenue growth.
  • Experience in successfully executing complex sales cycles with CXOs.
  • Has a range of Enterprise and Internet industry-related contacts and network.
  • Ability to work independently, appreciate aggressive goals, have superior organizational skills and a make-it-happen attitude.
  • Have an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in selling to Technical Buyers.
  • Proven track record as a successful field-based salesperson.
  • Strong knowledge of Internet and Telecommunications concepts/technologies and demonstrate the ability to discuss them with intelligence.
  • Highly knowledgeable of technology industry trends and strategies in relation to appropriate industry segments.
  • Experience in one of the following industries will be considered an advance: CDN, cloud, WAN optimisation, managed solutions, hosting solutions.
  • Computer Science or Engineering degree or work experience a strong plus.
  • High degree of creativity, self-motivation, and drive.
  • The ability to work in a startup team environment that will be rapidly changing.
  • Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Proven experience hiring and managing a team of sales and account executives.
  • Bachelor's degree.
