We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager/ sales Director to build, manage and develop our sales team in the US.

This exciting role is perfect for someone with a solid track record in selling solutions to enterprises of all sizes and verticals. This leader will report to the CEO. The right candidate will bring a perfect blend of the art and science of sales with a disciplined go-to-market approach, in-depth understanding of KPIs along with excellent team building ability. This position requires a long track record of successfully selling into various verticals including medium to large sized national and international brands. This position can be based anywhere in the US , but would require traveling.

Job description

  • Responsible for building, maximizing and realizing the sales potential within a broad range of client opportunities while laying the infrastructure for team building.
  • Achieve or exceed revenue goals by selling a set of cloud, acceleration, cloud security and infrastructure as a service solutions.
  • Expected to create a pipeline of opportunities from his own network as well as company’s lead generation activities.
  • Understand the internal business processes of potential clients, and strategize, present and demonstrate a tailored technology solution. Also, she/he must develop an understanding of the customer’s business objectives in order to map a strategy that will be a viable solution to those business objectives.
  • Excellent relationship building and experience in contract negotiations.
  • Solid understanding of the cloud and technology world and ability to explain product benefits in detail.
  • Laying down the infrastructure for a US based sales organization.
  • Ensure quality client management & support; manage inter-team processes and ensure efficient operation of the business.
  • Maintain and report on Sales KPIs and Marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for achieving company market share and revenue goals.
  • Develop annual sales plans in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
  • Recommend on sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of sales management experience
  • Proven ability to close large transactions (six+ figures) and consistent achievement against quota.
  • Proven track record building and scaling successful sales organizations
  • Exceptional people management skills (empathy, empowerment, leadership)
  • Experience in solutions sales within internet or Enterprise accounts.
  • High level of integrity, ethical standards and desire to be part of a successful sales organisation.
  • Skill to prioritize opportunities that will lead to new industry penetration, new account acquisition and incremental revenue growth.
  • Experience in successfully executing complex sales cycles with CXOs.
  • Has a range of Enterprise and Internet industry-related contacts and network.
  • Ability to work independently, appreciate aggressive goals, have superior organizational skills and a make-it-happen attitude.

  • Experience in selling to Technical Buyers.

  • Experience in one of the following industries will be considered an advance: CDN, cloud, security, Streaming, digital marketing, content management, DRM, web analytics, Load balancing, security, WAN optimisation or managed hosting solutions.
  • Computer Science or Engineering degree or work experience a strong plus.
  • High degree of creativity, self-motivation, and drive.
  • The ability to work in a startup team environment that will be rapidly changing.

Requirements:

  • Education in computer science or comparable work experience (e.g. IT specialist, network administration or the equivalent)

  • Outbound “cold-calling” to a defined set target prospect accounts.
  • Field inbound calls and leads from various sources and qualify for business
    potential.
  • Contact prospects and partners through, but not limited to, phone calls, email,
    mailings, fax and seminars to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with
    the company.
  • Qualification engagement for newly gathered (created) sales leads and productive
    maintenance of nurtured leads.
  • Close communication with corporate ISR team and other regions to ensure up to
    date information sharing.

Qualifications:
