1. Who we Are and What we need

This Privacy Notice is made by the GlobalDots group of companies, which includes: Danidin, Ltd. (Cyprus), GlobalDots Marketing Limited (UK), GlobalDots, Inc. (Delaware), GlobalDots GK (Japan), GlobalDots Services and Support GmbH (Germany).

We are committed to respecting the privacy of the individuals with whom we do business. This Privacy Notice describes how we may use, and share your personal information.

Danidin Ltd is a Controller of the personal data you (data subject) provide us. We collect the following types of personal data from you:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Name of employer and your position in the organization

The company does not collect sensitive personal data.

2. Why we need it

The company collects personal data related to contacts at its business partners and business opportunities, customers and vendors,in order to have a valid business relationship with you, including providing support, pursuing marketing and sales opportunities and for matters related to billing and collections.

We may also use your information to provide our services, to prevent and detect fraud, money laundering and other improper activities, meet our obligations to any relevant regulatory authority, and to develop and improve our services to you and other customers and to resolve disputes.

3. What we do with it

We have implemented technology and security policies, rules and measures to protect the personal information we hold about you.

We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information during transmission and once we receive it.

We may share your information with our affiliates and related companies and their employees and agents for our business purposes.

We may use your personal data to contact you with information relevant to your interest and our services.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may provide your personal information to law enforcement or regulatory agencies in response to legitimate requests therefor.

We may also use and include your personal information in third party data banks and with service providers that facilitate the maintenance of our relationship with you, including CRM and ERP systems licensed from third parties. We will take reasonable steps to endeavour that any third parties that have access to your personal data process the same in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

If there is (or is to be) any change in ownership of our business or assets, then we may wish to share your information so that the new (prospective) owners may continue to operate our business effectively and continue to provide services to our customers. This may include new shareholders or any organization that might take an assignment or transfer of any agreements we have entered into with our customers.

4. How long we keep it

Under relevant law, we are required to keep customer documents for 6 years according to our Data Retention Policy. After this period, your personal data will be irreversibly destroyed. Any personal data held by us for marketing and service update notifications will be kept by us until such time that you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

5. What are your rights?

Should you believe that any personal data we hold on you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the ability to request to see this information, rectify it or have it deleted. Please contact us at: dpo@globaldots.com

Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right of access to your personal records and information that we hold about you, upon written request and payment of any charge permitted by applicable law. Upon request, we will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, or delete it by contacting us by telephone, email or postal mail at the contact information listed below. If we cannot delete your personal information we will tell you the reason why. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.

Our data protection team and operations manager will then look into your complaint and work with you to resolve the matter.

If we make any material changes we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this page prior to the change becoming effective.
